Playing to over 16,500 students in 2011, Romeo And Juliet is back by popular demand!
This energetic production, directed by Damien Ryan, is performed by Bell Shakespeare’s Players Company at the Sydney Opera House and later in the year at the National Theatre in Melbourne.
Shakespeare’s classic is presented in a fast-paced, visually vibrant production with a distinctly Australian flavour.
Damien Ryan’s production transports Verona to a small, isolated, drought-ridden community, with Romeo and Juliet’s story playing out amongst the red dirt of the land.
